Markos Tsegaye Beyene

Markos Tsegaye Beyene received an Advanced Diploma in Hydraulic Engineering from Arba-minch University in 1996, a Bsc and Msc in Civil Engineering and Highway Engineering from Jimma University in 2004 and 2008 respectively.

He began his career as a technical assistant in Jimma University's civil engineering department in 2000 and was later promoted to lecturer. He has been a senior lecturer at the university since 2016. Aside from his teaching duties at the university, he has held a number of positions at the institution, including Civil Engineering Department Head.

In 2018/2019, he began working as a PhD researcher at VUB's Department of Mechanics of Materials and Constructions on Natural fibers as reinforcement in textile reinforced concrete
