ADB Safegate is one of the world leaders in airport runway equipment such as signs and lights. They perform a large variety of tests at our facilities, ranging from dynamic fatigue tests on top covers for runway light systems, over tensile tests on cables to bending tests on poles for sign boards. |

Etex provides a wide spectrum of lightweight building solutions, from innovative modular systems to cement and plasterboard systems. Their products are used amongst others for facades, roofs, terrasses, fire safety and insulation. We provide support for the design and experiments concerning textile reinforced cementitious plates. |

ENGIE Laborelec is a leading expertise and research centre in electrical power technology. Drawing on the skills of 300 highly specialised engineers and technicians, the company is active on the whole electricity value chain and backs a large set of customers in the fields of generation, transmission, distribution, storage and final use of electricity, with a particular focus upon the energy transition and the 3 D’s - decentralisation, decarbonisation and digitalisation. We executed several very diverse research projects with them, including amongst others the characterisation of the healing capacities of different repair products for concrete over a longer time period and the identification of the mechanical creep behaviour of rubbery material under load and high temperatures. |

They provide solutions for a wide variety of markets like agricultural, architecture, tertiary and residential. We collaborate with them for theoretical adaptions to their calculation programme and for the execution of tests like the determination of the moment-rotation response of profiles or the determination of the rotational stiffness of the profile-plate connection. |

Leviat unites the expertise, skills and resources of CRH’s construction accessories companies in a single global organisation. Its trusted product brands, including Ancon, HALFEN, Plaka and Meadow Burke, are synonymous with high performance, quality and reliability. Several extensive test campaigns have been executed for the different companies within this group. Most of them involved the mechanical characterization of connection systems for balconies, avoiding thermal bridges. The tests involved the characterization of the materials, the connection and bond between them, as well as the full scare testing on unit width elements. |

Konligo produces, sells and rents scissor structures for different applications like festivals, receptions, exhibition booths, shelters,… These innovative scissor structures provide a robust, easy, fast (installation within 5 minutes) and customized solution for the event industry. As this company originates in our department, it still performs all its tests at our facilities. These tests include simple subcomponent testing, like wires, carabin hooks and joints, but also full-scale testing for certification purposes. This full-scale test involved the loading and monitoring (displacements and strains) of a structure of 23m². |
