Biografie
Javane Karami studied at the Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) where she obtained her bachelor degree in Automotive Engineering in 2015. Three years later, in 2018, she received a MSc in Mechanical Engineering – Applied Design of the same university. In 2021, she started as a PhD student at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, department MeMC. Her PhD research focuses on the development of thick adhesive joints in the trailing edge of wind turbine blades. Her research interests include fracture and damage mechanics, nanocomposites, characterization of composites in the molten state, fatigue, thick adhesive joints and NDTs.
