Zehra Eryuruk
Biography
Zehra Eryuruk graduated from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, in 2010. She holds a master’s degree in civil engineering, architecture and a master’s in membrane and shell technology.
She started her career, in 2010, as an architect in Belgium. In 2014, she travelled to the United Arab Emirates to work into the membrane field as design manager. She decided to come back to Belgium in 2016 and started to manage her own family business specialized in aluminum and glass façade systems. Since 2018, she is lecturing the topic membrane detailing at the Institute of membrane and shell technologies, IMS Bauhaus, Anhalt University.
In 2021, she started as PhD researcher in the department of Mechanics of Materials and Constructions of VUB about the sustainability and durability of double skin facades.
