Liese Van Holen

Liese Van Holen, is a PhD researcher at the department 'Architectural Engineering' (ARCH) and the department 'Mechanics of Materials and Constructions' (MeMC) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She obtained her Master's Degree in in Architectural Engineering in 2025 within the Bruface Programme (ULB-VUB). In her Master's thesis she studied the historic reclamation of materials. With funding from the VUB ARCH and MeMC departments, she will further explore reclamation and recuperated materials.
